1. About Artale

Artale captures the nostalgic spirit of Old School MapleStory before the Big Bang update. We started developing Artale to share that nostalgia with you, and we're still working tirelessly to make that dream a reality.

Artale preserves the classic features of the original MapleStory while adding numerous quality-of-life improvements to make your gaming experience even smoother. For instance, Artale supports mobile-PC cross-play, offers an auto-loot system, removes melee attacks for archers and throwing thieves, and eliminates the pet feeding system.

Thanks to these quality-of-life updates, you can focus even more on enjoying the thrill of hunting and adventuring in Artale!

2. Artale Experience Rate System

To enhance the immersive experience, Artale has implemented an EXP rate system that allows players to grow more smoothly. This design makes it easier to tackle the challenging sections reminiscent of Old School MapleStory.

• Hunting EXP: For levels 1-70, a 2x EXP rate is applied, and for levels 71-100, a 1.5x rate is in effect. This structure enables faster progression in the early levels, while encouraging more strategic gameplay as you advance.
• Party Quests and General Quests: Completing party quests and general quests grants 2x EXP, providing a strong incentive to team up and clear main story quests together.
• Meso Rate: The meso gain rate remains unchanged, preserving the economic balance of the original game and letting you experience a similar meso economy to that of classic MapleStory.

This system supports faster progression and immersion during challenging sections, helping you enjoy both the nostalgic spirit of the original game and an enhanced gaming experience. We may adjust these rates in the future based on events or your feedback, so let us know what you think!
