1. General Operation Policy

[1-1] MapleStory Worlds Artale (the “Company”) is a world within the MapleStory Worlds platform provided by Toben Studio Inc. (the “Artale World”), operated according to the following policies. This policy is established to protect both the Company and users (the “Users”) and to ensure prompt and consistent resolution of issues arising during the use of Artale World.

[1-2] This policy outlines the contents for operating Artale World.

[1-3] The Company may modify the operation policy to minimize Users' inconvenience and provide stable services. Changes will be communicated through community channels (official site, Discord, etc.). Users should review notifications and be aware of updates to avoid inconvenience. The Company cannot assist with any inconvenience caused by the lack of awareness of changes.

[1-4] Any matters which are not mentioned in the operation policy section will follow the “Toben Studio Policy,” the “Youth Protection Policy,” the “Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc.,” and other related legislations.

2. Customer Rights and Obligations

[2-1] Customer Rights

[2-1-1] Customers can enjoy the various content and services provided in Artale World.

[2-1-2] Customers may report issues or request assistance via the designated inquiry channels if they experience harm while using Artale World.

[2-1-3] If harm is caused by the Company, customers can contact the community channels for assistance. For issues stemming from the MapleStory Worlds platform, customers should reach out to the platform’s customer support.

[2-1-4] To appeal any usage restrictions, customers should inquire through community channels. Note that appeals cannot be submitted after the 15-day data retention period.

[2-2] Customer Obligations

[2-2-1] Customers bear responsibility for any harm caused by identity theft or false information and must be accountable for any personal data misuse.

[2-2-2] Primary responsibility for account security lies with the customer, who should take all precautions to protect their information, except in cases where harm is due to the Company’s gross negligence.

[2-2-3] Customers should regularly change their account passwords and manage their devices securely to prevent account theft and safeguard their information.

[2-2-4] Customers must avoid harming others or disrupting order in Artale World. Cooperation with the Company’s requests is expected, and violations of the “Artale World Common Operation Policy” or behavior deemed socially unacceptable may lead to service restrictions. Respectful interactions with others are encouraged.

[2-2-5] Customers are required to report bugs via the designated inquiry channels. Failure to report or misuse of bugs may lead to restrictions on service use.
