Today’s notice serves as our patch notes, covering a critical update to enhance your gameplay experience and protect the integrity of our game.

1. [State of Artale Since Launch]

Since Artale’s official launch on October 16, 2024, we have observed a persistent influx of unauthorized program users attempting to access the game.

These activities have severely disrupted the in-game economy and negatively impacted the overall experience for our players.

2. [Initial Measures and Limitations]

In the early stages, we opted to strengthen internal security measures and actively monitor for unauthorized activity rather than implementing two-factor authentication (2FA).

However, this approach fell short in effectively identifying and deterring unauthorized program users, inadvertently affecting the quality of your gameplay environment.

3. [Decision to Implement 2FA and Reasons for Delayed Notice]

With today’s patch, we are officially introducing 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) in Artale.

We understand that this update was not announced in advance, and we’d like to explain why:

Notifying players of the 2FA implementation beforehand could have allowed unauthorized program users to exploit the announcement by liquidating or trading accumulated resources, potentially destabilizing the in-game economy. To safeguard the game’s security and integrity, we made the difficult decision to withhold this information until the update was ready to launch.

4. [Access Restrictions for Accounts Without 2FA]

Starting with this patch, accounts without 2FA enabled will no longer be able to access the Artale world.

To ensure uninterrupted access, we urge all players who have not yet completed the 2FA process to follow the instructions provided and enable 2FA as soon as possible.

Both SMS Verification and Authenticator Verification must be successfully completed to access the game.
